Suspect arrested in homicide investigation of Deshaun Hill Jr.

Minneapolis police say they have arrested a suspect in the shooting death of 15-year-old Deshaun Hill Jr.

Minneapolis Public Information Officer Garrett Parten said Wednesday that no further information is available at this time in order to “protect the integrity of the investigation and to address safety concerns.”
More information is expected to be released in the days to come.
Hill was shot and killed on Feb. 9 just before 12:30 p.m. near North Penn Avenue and Golden Valley Road.
The teenager was honored by North High School’s football and basketball team over the weekend.
