Charges dropped against Minneapolis woman accused of aiding homicide suspect
Court records show all charges have been dropped against a woman who was accused of aiding a murder suspect.
As previously reported, 37-year-old Samantha Barth had been charged with aiding and abetting an offender after the fact as well as aiding and abetting second-degree murder.
Records show the charges were dismissed Tuesday and a jury trial was canceled.
Barth had been accused of handing a gun over to a man who is suspected of fatally shooting 27-year-old Marcellus Strickland on Feb. 5. She was arrested on Feb. 8 and had told investigators she couldn’t remember who pulled the trigger because she was drunk at the time of the shooting.

Police had said Strickland was found unresponsive with multiple gunshot wounds on the 3800 block of Grand Avenue South shortly after 3 a.m. that day, adding the shooting may have happened after a forced entry and assault.
