St. Paul woman pleads guilty to murdering ex-husband

Online court records show a St. Paul woman who was charged with killing her ex-husband has now entered a guilty plea.

Forty-year-old Karina See Her pleaded guilty to second-degree murder with intent.

A jury trial was originally scheduled to begin Tuesday but that has been canceled. A sentencing hearing is now scheduled for 9 a.m. on March 29.

Charging documents state See Her was charged in connection to 50-year-old Kou Yang’s death. She faces a maximum sentence of 40 years in prison.

Police said at the time of charging that she murdered and buried her ex-husband after initially claiming he went missing.
