Police make arrest in connection to Eagan movie theater firework incident

The Eagan Police Department says an 18-year-old has been arrested in connection to the Emagine Cinema firework incident that left two people injured last week.

Eagan police told 5 EYEWITNESS NEWS that the suspect is currently being held in the Dakota County Jail.
Investigators believe someone lit a large firework and tossed it into a theater shortly before first responders were called around 8:30 p.m. July 12.
The suspect has not been identified, and formal charges are pending.
