MSP’s Eebbers advances to championship round in TSA’s cutest canine contest
The cutest canine that works for the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) may just be the one at Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport — but your help is needed to make that official!
Tuesday, the TSA announced that Eebbers, who had previously advanced to the top four finalists, has nosed his way to the championship round.

The 11-year-old is a Labrador and Vizsla mix, and is competing against Tom-Magnum, a German Shorthaired Pointer who works at New York City’s John F. Kennedy International Airport.
Voting is now underway and is open through Wednesday, Aug. 24.

The winner will be announced sometime on Friday.
The TSA says Eebbers, who is the oldest dog working in the agency’s canine program and has been at MSP since 2015, will be retiring on Aug. 31.
