Minneapolis police searching for suspects in separate fatal shootings

The Minneapolis Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating suspects involved in two separate homicide cases.

Oct. 3 shooting on Fremont Avenue North

In one case, police are looking for help identifying three people involved in a fatal shooting that happened Oct. 3, according to a post on the department’s Facebook page.

WARNING: The video shown on the post is extremely graphic and disturbing.

A video on the post shows three males with masks on going through a silver SUV.

The video also appears to show a dead person in the passenger’s seat. One of the suspects then pulls the body out and drops it to the ground.

The shooting is believed to have happened at about 3:14 p.m. near the intersection of Fremont and 26th Avenues North.

Police say the vehicle was carjacked earlier in the day and located it in the Ericson neighborhood two hours after the video was taken. The vehicle had been set on fire and witnesses reported seeing three males wearing masks running from the vehicle after hearing an explosion and seeing smoke coming from the car.
