Final week to submit designs for Minnesota flag and seal

Minnesotans have just one week left to have their design considered for the state’s new flag or seal.

The Minnesota State Emblems Redesign Commission (SERC) says that submissions must be made before 11:59 p.m. on Oct. 30, 2023, on its website. Five submissions will be selected for final consideration before it is decided which design will be selected and adopted as the new flag design no later than Jan. 1, 2024. The submission period opened on Oct. 2.
