Edina School Board holding special meeting on security Thursday morning

There is a special school board meeting happening Thursday morning in Edina that is aimed at discussing school security.

It comes after five students who were previously enrolled at Edina High School were arrested after allegedly trying to carjack someone last week, leading to a lockdown of a nearby middle school. As previously reported by 5 EYEWITNESS NEWS, the incident happened just before 10 a.m. last Wednesday on West 70th and Antrim Road.
