2 juveniles arrested in shooting of Woodbury teen

Two teenage boys were arrested Thursday in connection with a Nov. 21 shooting in Woodbury that injured another teenager, police said.

The Woodbury and Oakdale Police Departments, Washington County Sheriff’s Office and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms conducted two search warrants and an arrest warrant in connection with the shooting. Officers arrested a 15-year-old and a 16-year-old.

Due to the ongoing investigation and the involvement of juveniles, police said they are unable to release any more information.

On the evening of Nov. 21, dispatchers received a report that a car crashing through a garage on the 500 block of Lake View Drive and that someone inside had been shot. A juvenile driver was injured but is expected to recover.

According to police, the suspects and victim knew each other, and a “disagreement” led to gunfire.

A CodeRed emergency alert was sent to the area as police searched for the suspects.
