Previous Experience
Joe returned to 5 EYEWITNESS NEWS in February 2006, after working at WXYZ-TV in Detroit, Michigan, for two years. Prior to his first stint at 5 EYEWITNESS NEWS in 2003, Joe worked at WOIO-TV in Cleveland, Ohio. He also reported for WTHR-TV in Indianapolis, Indiana, and WXIX-TV in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Education
Joe attended Columbia College in Chicago, Illinois, whose most famous graduate is Wheel of Fortune host Pat Sajak. Joe's degree is in TV and radio.

Personal Interests
Growing up in Chicago, Joe has always loved baseball. He was a long-suffering Sox fan until they won the 2005 World Series. He attended one game with his father, which was a great moment in his life and in baseball history. Joe enjoys the Twin Cities for its beauty, but he could do without the cold and snow.
