For anyone who has recently been on a plane, or plans to be on one soon, the option of ordering a drink is prohibited on some flights at airlines around the country.

Multiple airlines have made the change to reduce contact between flight attendants and customers during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Delta Air Lines said it will only serve bottled water across all cabins, with plastic cups and no ice. United Airlines says it will not serve poured alcohol, but those in premium cabins can still have beer or wine. Additionally, American Airlines states it won’t serve any alcohol on flights of less than 2,200 miles.
