Wren’s Tuesday Forecast

Good evening! We’re looking at another round of accumulating snowfall tonight from about Alexandria to Brainerd to Duluth and northward. About 3″-6″ of snowfall is likely across northern Minnesota where Winter Weather Advisories and Winter Storm Warnings are in place (totals are likely to be up to 8″ for counties under the Winter Storm Warning in NW MN, even higher locally across the North Shore).

Most of central Minnesota, the Twin Cities into western Wisconsin, will see mainly rain, with the potential for a few flakes mixed (especially north of I-94). Rain and snow holds in place overnight through early Wednesday morning. Even by 6 AM most of MN should be dry, but far NE Minnesota will still have some snow exiting to the east.

Count on breezy winds tomorrow with highs near 40°. A few light sctd. snow showers are possible overnight Wednesday into Thursday, but most of those flakes should stay south of the metro. Have a wonderful night!
