Sheletta Honors Healthcare Workers and Black History Month

Author and media personality, Sheletta Brundidge, celebrates Healthcare Heros during a time when they probably need it most. A recent Mayo Clinic study found that 1 in 5 healthcare workers are experiencing burnout due to the pandemic. Sheletta and her podcast group gave 100 gift baskets to the workers at M Health Fairview Masonic Children’s Hospital.
And, on the first day of Black History Month, her podcast, Sheletta Makes Me Laugh, celebrates it’s 2nd Anniversary. She’s teaching her own kids about Black History Month by visiting the Science Museum of Minnesota’s newest exhibit on race. And, Microsoft has a free tool that teachers can use in the classroom called The Legacy Project.
