Didn’t get a ‘Food Parade’ ticket for the State Fair? At-home kit available to purchase
In less than three hours on Friday, the Minnesota State Fair sold out its "Food Parade" tickets, leaving some fair fans bummed out.
However, on Monday, a small business in Minnetonka announced a State Fair at-home food kit that anyone can purchase.
The business says foods such as cheese curds, mini donuts, Sweet Martha’s Cookies, Rosies’s Fries, fresh corn and corn dogs are included in the food kit. The fair mentions these items are being sold at limited availability. All food options are provided come from small Minnesota businesses and state farms.
The food kit serves five and the food can be made at home. It’s on sale for $59.95 with shipping set to begin on Aug. 17.
