Authorities identify victim in fatal St. Paul shooting
Authorities have identified the man who was killed in a shooting Tuesday afternoon in St. Paul.
St. Paul police identified the man as 42-year-old Larnell Brown.

The man shot and killed yesterday near the intersection of University Ave./Arundel St. has been ID'd as Larnell Brown, 42, of St. Paul.
No one has been arrested for the murder. Investigators working day/night on case.

Officers were patrolling the area of University Avenue and Arundel Street when they heard gunfire. The officers quickly reported the incident and began searching the area. They found Brown, who had suffered a gunshot wound to his chest, lying in the middle of Arundel Street by a corner grocery store.

Officers rendered aid to Brown, who was then transported to Regions Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
No arrest has been made in connection to the incident. Anyone with information regarding the shooting is asked to contact police at 651-266-5650.
The shooting marks the third homicide of 2020 in St. Paul.
