Wild’s Guerin, Evason, players recap season and preview playoffs

While their first-round playoff opponent is set there’s still home ice advantage to be determined as the Minnesota Wild play the final two games of the regular season.

They’re locked into a playoff matchup with St Louis, but the teams are tied in points. Whichever team finishes in front will earn home-ice for the playoff series which will begin early next week.

The Wild close the regular season with home games Thursday against Calgary and Friday against Colorado. St Louis’ only remaining game is Friday against Las Vegas, who have been eliminated from playoff contention.

The Wild-Blues playoff series is expected to begin Monday or Tuesday night.
