The Minnesota Wild made another roster move Wednesday, sending a defenseman away.
The team traded Dmitry Kulikov to the Anaheim Ducks for future considerations.
Kulikov had one year left on his contract at $2.25 million.
The move opens a little cap space for Minnesota, who already has six other defensemen on NHL deals.
In his lone season with the Wild, Kulikov recorded 24 points (7-17=24) in 80 games.
The move comes a day after the Wild signed former Ducks center Sam Steel.
