Aerial and Randy married last year, which came during the Twins’ pennant race. For their wedding, they started a fundraiser for St. Jude and raised more than $4,000. Then in January, they flew to Memphis to meet with patients and learn more about how to support the St. Jude mission.
Dobnak’s 2019 season was one worthy of a movie. He began it at High-A Fort Myers, and finished it by starting Game 2 of the Divisional Series at New York.
Dobnak was trying to win a job during spring training in the Twins’ opening rotation. He seemed to be in line to be their No. 5 starter before the COVID-19 pandemic shut things down.
