Timberwolves Karl-Anthony Towns in for 3-point contest NBA All-Star Saturday Night
The NBA announced that Minnesota Timberwolves center Karl-Anthony Towns will participate in the 3-Point Contest for NBA All-Star Saturday.
TNT will televise the NBA All-Star Saturday, Feb. 19 at 7 p.m. from the Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse in Cleveland.
Towns is the all-time leader in three-pointers made (728) and will become the second Timberwolves player to compete in the contest after Kevin Love did so in 2012 and returned to win in 2014.
The Edison, New Jersey native has led the team to a 28-25 record season, including a 16-10 mark at Target Center.
Bulls guard Zach LaVine, a close friend and ex-teammate of Towns, will also be competing.
Towns will also play in Sunday’s All-Star Game.
