Schedule for upcoming Gophers men’s hockey season released
The full schedule for the 2022-23 University of Minnesota men’s hockey season has been released.
The Gophers are scheduled to play 34 regular-season games this season, plus two exhibitions. Of those, 19 are set to be played in 3M Arena at Mariucci.
The reigning Big Ten Conference champions will open the season at home with games against Lindenwood — which is making its NCAA debut — on Oct. 1 and 2. The following weekend is a home-and-home with Mankato State before the Gophers host North Dakota on Oct. 21 and 22.
Conference play starts Oct. 28 and 29 as Minnesota heads to Ohio State.
Other notable matchups include hosting Wisconsin on Dec. 9 and 10, the U.S. National Under-18 Team on Dec. 29 for an exhibition and two games against Ohio State to wrap up the regular season on Feb. 24 and 25.
