Q&A: Wild GM Guerin on Kaprizov contract talks and more

With training camp opening in two weeks, it was a good time to catch up with Wild general manager Bill Guerin.
He gave us an update on the contract talks with restricted free agent Kirill Kaprizov, among many topics. Guerin remains very confident that a long-term agreement will be reached in the near future.

Guerin also touched on NHL players, including many of his guys, being able to play in the 2022 Winter Olympics, whether he’s still after a center, the confidence he has in his blue line, and a lot more.
The Wild open their preseason schedule on Oct. 4.
