Patrick Peterson and Jordan Hicks addressed their Vikings teammates Saturday night on the eve of their game against the defensive duo’s former team, the Arizona Cardinals. The message was direct, and to the point – they wanted a win, and wanted it badly.
After the Vikings 34-26 win, the two discussed their desire to deliver some comeuppance to the Cardinals at U.S. Bank Stadium on Sunday.

Peterson bristled in his postgame comments, even two years removed from Arizona declining to re-sign him, which eventually led him to join the Vikings.
He recalled not hearing from Cardinals ownership after he was let go, and having negative e-mails left at his locker room stall that were penned by Cardinals fans – even addressing one of them by name, from memory.

Hicks aligned with Peterson in his comments. Both made several big plays in the Vikings win – and took every chance they could to let their former teammates see and hear about it.
