Wild finish 2022 NHL Draft with six forwards, two defensemen

The Minnesota Wild’s 2022 Draft heavily emphasized offense with six of their eight picks – and each of their first five picks – being forwards.

The Wild selected left wing Liam Öhgren with the 19th overall selection, then Russian right wing Danila Yurov with the 24th overall selection.
