Minnesota United FC of the MLS lost a disappointing match to Union Omaha of the USL on Wednesday night, 2-1 in the U.S Cup. The Loons have no time to reflect on that loss with New York City FC waiting. They face MNUFC on Saturday night at Allianz Field.
“That’s a game we need to put behind us. Our focus now is against New York. They’re a team that plays really well without the ball and we’ll need to be aware of that as the game unfolds,” said MNUFC head coach Adrian Heath on Friday.

In the Loons’ latest loss, Heath pointed to his team’s mental lapse.
“I’ve been here before and the longer I’m in football, I’ll be here again,” Heath said. “The game is littered with it all over the world. I couldn’t have said any more to the guys from this past week, but we need to turn the page and move on from this,” Heath added.
