Milić signs 1 week contract with Lynx

Forward Nikolina Milić has signed on with the Minnesota Lynx for seven days, according to the team.

Milić’s signing makes her eligible for Sunday’s 5 p.m. game against the Chicago Sky.

The signing comes just days after she was released from a hardship exception contract, which began on May 6.

The release happened Thursday, when Sylvia Fowles returned from a knee injury.

Team officials say Milić, who is 28, has averaged 6.9 pointes, 3.3 rebounds and 1.2 assists in 14.4 minutes per game.
