Gophers softball doubleheader postponed

A scheduled doubleheader for the University of Minnesota softball team has been postponed.

The Gophers were set to play South Dakota State at 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. on Wednesday but that has now been delayed due to impending weather, the program announced.

No makeup date has been set, at this time.

The Gophers say tickets from Wednesday’s scheduled games will be valid for the rescheduled game.

Minnesota will resume play on Friday to start a three-game series in Iowa City.
