Gach, a transfer from Utah, picked the Gophers in the summer over Auburn, Creighton, Iowa State and Maryland. The 6-foot-6 guard averaged 10.7 points, 3.7 rebounds and 2.9 assists for Utah during the 2019-20 season. He has two years of college eligibility remaining.
He tested the NBA Draft waters before deciding to play another year in college. He interviewed with the Golden St. Warriors and Orlando Magic, receiving solid feedback on where he needs to improve.
He helped lead Austin to the Minnesota Boys’ State Basketball Tournament as a junior where they lost in the Class 3A championship game.
