Gophers men’s hockey blowout Wisconsin in series opener

Freshman Logan Cooley had two goals to lead the Gophers to a 7-1 win Friday night at 3M Arena at Mariucci.

The Gophers are 5-1 in their last six games vs. their archrival.

The Gophers are now 14-5-0 this season, a Big Ten leading 9-2, and will host Wisconsin again on Saturday with puck drop set for 6 p.m.
