Fleck provides progress report through first week of Gophers camp

The countdown to September 2 is on, with the Gophers early 14 point underdogs vs. Ohio State at home. Gophers coach P.J. Fleck met with reporters after practice over the weekend to provide a camp progress report.

Minnesota has a ton of experience on both sides of the ball. The extra year of eligibility granted by the NCAA has helped the Gophers greatly, as has multiple incoming graduate transfers.
In fact, the offensive line is the same as 2019, when Minnesota ran over most of the Big Ten and SEC power Auburn.
Outside of losing WR Rashod Bateman, a first round pick by Baltimore, the top 2020 skill position players by snap count are back.
