Teen arrested for threatening social media post toward Sauk Rapids school
A teenager has been arrested over a threatening social media post directed at a Sauk Rapids school.
Sauk Rapids Police said the post was made Saturday and was aimed at Sauk Rapids Middle School.
Authorities took a 14-year-old into custody for the post. While the investigation remains active, police said the teen has claimed sole responsibility for the post.
The department said police will be at all Sauk Rapids schools on Monday and doors will remain locked all day for the safety of staff and students.
More information is expected to be released by the district later on Monday.
