Protesters have gathered outside of the Governor’s Residence in St. Paul to call for another special legislative session to try and pass police reform.
Lawmakers had ended the most recent special session over the weekend without passing any police reform bills.
The group planning the protest, "Communities United Against Police Brutality," are demanding changes including extending the statute of limitations for wrongful death and liability insurance for police.
State leaders have indicated another special session is likely.
