UPDATE: 1 lane of Highway 61 reopened after crash involving semi and car
Northbound lanes of Highway 61 were temporarily closed Wednesday morning due to a crash involving a semi and a car.
The closure occurred along a stretch of highway near Lower Afton Road.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, diesel fuel was leaking from the semi.
Authorities have not yet released information on whether anyone was hurt in the crash.

Northbound Highway 61 has opened at Lower Afton Road, however it is reduced to one lane through the intersection. Southbound Highway 61 is also reduced to one lane while the cleanup continues and crews remove the semi.
