2 teenagers killed after crash in St. Paul Friday night

UPDATE 8:00 p.m.:

Minnesota State Patrol identified the two teenagers killed in the crash as Cadence Lee Allen and Aiden Patrick Nelson, both 17-year-olds from Prescott, WI. Neither teen was wearing a seat belt, according to the incident report.

The third teen was brought to Regions Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Nothing has been released about the 16-year-old driver.


Two teenagers are dead after a rollover crash in St. Paul happened just after 11 p.m. Friday night, according to Minnesota State Patrol.

The single-vehicle crash involved a Nissan Maxima that contained three 17-year-old passengers from Prescott, Wisc. and a 16-year-old driver, according to the crash report. The identities of the survivors and their current conditions are not known at this time.

The report states that the crash happened on Highway 61 just north of Lower Afton Road in St. Paul. MSP states the Maxima was traveling north at a “high rate of speed” when it veered off and left the road to the right, rolled, went airborne, and struck several trees before it came to a rest about 40-50 feet from the road.
