Timothée Chalamet visits Minneapolis to promote upcoming Bob Dylan biopic
In support of his upcoming movie where he stars as music legend Bob Dylan, Timothée Chalamet visited Minneapolis Thursday.
Chalamet started the day by touring parts of the University of Minnesota campus, which Dylan briefly attended for one year. He then appeared at The Main Cinema for a screening of “A Complete Unknown,” where he was greeted by a large crowd of fans and press.
He discussed the inspiration he gained by visiting Minnesota for the role and also had some kind words for the North Star State.
“I mean it sincerely, I loved it here and I love Minnesota … generous of spirit … I’m sure you have your fair share of a**holes but it’s lovely out here.”
“A Complete Unknown” details the true story behind Dylan’s rise as one of the most iconic singer-songwriters in history. It opens in theaters Dec. 25.
