Suspicious death under investigation in Morrison County; 1 in custody

Authorities are investigating a suspicious death after a female victim was found Sunday morning in northern Minnesota.

According to the Morrison County Sheriff’s Office, the body was found in a home on the 600 block of Highway 10 South in Motley, Minnesota, about 20 miles west of Brainerd.

The victim was taken to the Midwest Medical Examiner’s Office for an autopsy; her name and cause of death will be released at a later date.

The sheriff’s office said one person was taken into custody and that there is no known threat to the public.
