St. Paul’s ‘Egg Roll Queen’ has food truck vandalized

A staple in the Twin Cities food scene is working on getting back on her feet after her food truck was vandalized.
Mai Vang is known as the “Egg Roll Queen,” and she’s made a name for herself with her good food and kindness.
Vang says, on Dec. 29, someone targeted her food truck as it was parked in Little Canada. The thieves ripped off the generator and catalytic converter.
“It damaged us a lot because we don’t have money,” Vang said. “You’re upset that it happened to you. Why would people do that?”
A GoFundMe has been set up for Vang. In the last few days, it’s raised more than $6,000.
