Child found in Brooklyn Park reunited with family

UPDATE: Police say the child has been reunited with her parent.

Police are searching for the parents of a young girl who was found Saturday evening in Brooklyn Park.

According to the Brooklyn Park Police Department, a child who is roughly 2 years old was found just after 7 p.m. near Zane Avenue and Brookdale Drive.

Police say they spoke with residents in the area but were unable to find the girl’s parents.

Anyone with information on the child’s parents is asked to call 911 or the Brooklyn Park Police Department at 763-493-8222.
