The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension (BCA) on Friday identified the officers as four-year St. Cloud Police veteran Brandon Leuthardt, 24-year veteran Jessica Schlieman and one-year veteran Zachary Scholl. Officers Leuthardt and Schlieman both deployed their Tasers during the incident while Scholl didn't.

Officers arrived at an apartment Wednesday at about 3:16 p.m. on a reported assault-in-progress. When officers didn't receive a response, they forced entry into the home and found 41-year-old David John Beckes in a bedroom.
The BCA said Beckes didn't comply with officers' commands and resisted arrest, and the two officers deployed their Tasers.

At one point following his arrest, Beckes became unresponsive, the BCA said. Officers began medical attention and he was taken to a hospital where he later died.
The BCA's investigation into the matter remains active, and the agency said it's still determining whether any cameras captured the incident.
All three officers are on standard administrative leave.
