Metro Transit to adjust dozens of routes starting Dec. 4
Starting Dec. 4, Metro Transit is making adjustments to dozens of routes, including the suspension of some routes.
Metro Transit officials say the changes are part of a quarterly review process in which the organization reviews and analyzes resources and ridership data.
Additionally, the organization reports "unprecedented" driver shortages are resulting in canceled trips that hinder those taking public transit.
Metro Transit states the changes will be in an effort to "increase the reliability of our scheduled service by altering service" using criteria including "equity," "minimizing ridership impact," and "preserving frequent transit service (every 10-15 minutes.)"
