Large police presence at Central High School on Tuesday night
The Ramsey County Sheriff’s Office is sharing new details about the large police presence seen at Central High School on Tuesday.
Ramsey County Sheriff’s Deputies said they were working security for a soccer tournament at the athletic fields when a fight involving “a small number of people” broke out around 9:45 p.m.
The sheriff’s office said the fight was quickly resolved.
At the same time, a player in the tournament experienced an unknown medical incident, and an ambulance was called to transport him to the hospital.
After this, the sheriff’s office said several hundred tournament attendees began to leave the stadium.
No arrests were made, according to the sheriff’s office, nor were there any additional injuries reported besides the aforementioned player.
