Investigators ask for help identifying suspects in August arsons in Minneapolis
Investigators are asking for the public’s help in identifying suspects in several fires that were set during unrest in Minneapolis on Aug. 26.
The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, FBI, Minneapolis Police Department and Minneapolis Fire Department are working together to identify suspects responsible for the four fires, which were set at Brit’s Pub, Target Headquarters, Walgreens and Tires Plus. One person has been arrested in connection to the arsons, so far.
Anyone with information on any of the suspects is asked to contact the ATF by emailing ATFTips@atf.gov or calling 1-888-283-8477. Tipsters can remain anonymous. Tips can also be submitted at ReportIt.com.
Authorities are also urging anyone with pictures or videos of the unrest on Aug. 26 to submit those, particularly if they show people starting fires or adding anything to the fires.
