Frontier systems normalizing after flights were grounded nationwide due to technical outage
UPDATE: Frontier Airlines stated that the ground stop has been lifted and their systems are gradually normalizing. The airline said they are in the process of resuming flight operations.
All Frontier Airlines flights were grounded Thursday night over what the carrier described as “a major Microsoft technical outage.”
The Federal Aviation Administration says Frontier asked the agency to pause the airline’s departures across the country.
The outage has delayed one flight leaving from Dallas-Fort Worth for Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport, according to MSP’s flight tracker.
