Man dead after driving off I-35 in Burnsville

A Burnsville man is dead after swerving off Interstate 35E and crashing onto County Road 11 on Sunday morning.
A report from the Minnesota State Patrol says a 68-year-old man was driving a Volvo S60 northbound on Interstate 35E around 9:40 a.m. when he drove into the right ditch, hit a sign and landed on County Road 11.
The man died as a result of the crash. His name is expected to be released Monday morning.
The State Patrol is investigating the crash.
