Deceased Anoka County Jail inmate identified

The inmate who was found dead while in custody at the Anoka County Jail early Thursday morning has been identified.

The Midwest Medical Examiner’s Office has identified the man as 20-year-old Riley J. Domeier of Andover.

Authorities say that the medical examiner is awaiting the results of a toxicology test before releasing Domeier’s cause of death, and the investigation did not reveal any signs of trauma.

The Sherburne County Sheriff’s Office has been investigating the death for Anoka County.
