Family displaced, rabbit rescued during overnight fire

A family of five has been displaced after a fire broke out at their home in Blaine overnight.

Crews were called to the area of 127th Lane NE and Van Buren Street NE just before 12:45 a.m. Tuesday.

Fire officials say while no one was hurt, the home has extensive smoke damage.

Firefighters also rescued a pet rabbit from the home.

The Red Cross is helping the family.
