BCA asks for help finding vehicle involved in 9-year-old’s death
The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension is asking for the public’s help in finding a vehicle involved in the death of a 9-year-old girl last spring.
The BCA says it is looking for a maroon 2014 Ford Fusion with the Minnesota license plate number 720XRP. Authorities say the vehicle’s license plates may have been removed and it may have even been painted a different color.
Investigators are looking for the vehicle in connection to the death of 9-year-old Trinity Ottoson-Smith last year in Minneapolis. Ottoson-Smith was jumping on a trampoline her a friend’s back yard when she was shot. She died 12 days later.

Last month, the BCA announced the arrest of 19-year-old D’Pree Shareef Robinson in connection to her death.
