A 911 dispatcher is being credited for helping save the life of a suicidal man.
Last month, the caller said he was determined to die while driving around the Twin Cities.
Minnesota State Patrol dispatcher Marty O'Hehir spoke to the caller for twenty-two minutes and was able to bring everything to a peaceful end.
"It was a crazy call," O'Hehir said. "It was high speed, lots of action, lots of conversation, it was intense. The conversation, in my eyes, was your not going to kill yourself today. We're not going to have something bad happen."
A few days later, the person called back and left O'Hehir a message thanking him for saving his life.
