Three other people have been charged in connection to the incident. Cedric Lamont Berry and Berry Davis both face one count of second-degree murder and one count of kidnapping. Elsa Segura has also been charged with one count of kidnapping.

According to a criminal complaint, Shante Davis is the wife of Cedric Berry and the sister of Berry Davis. The complaint alleges she helped make arrangements to assist the suspects accused of murdering Baugh, including booking a hotel room for them and driving her husband to pick up the U-Haul that was used to kidnap Baugh.

Baugh was abducted on New Year's Eve while showing a home on the 8300 block of Niagara Avenue in Maple Grove.

An hour later, officers responded to the 1300 block of Russell Avenue North in Minneapolis after a ShotSpotter report. Baugh was found with multiple gunshot wounds and duct tape around one of her wrists. She was pronounced dead a short time later.
