4-year-old identified in Mounds View hotel drowning

A 4-year-old who died from drowning at an AmericInn in Mounds View has been identified.
The Hennepin County Medical Examiner states Lamyah Lou Yvette Reece died of complications of freshwater drowning.
The incident happened at the AmericInn in Mounds View, located at 2200 Mounds View Blvd on Jan. 25. She died two days later at Children's Minneapolis.
The Mounds View Police Department along with the Ramsey County Sheriff's Office Water Patrol are still investigating. Authorities are deeming the event an accident.
