4 vehicle crash on I-94 near downtown Minneapolis blocked all lanes Saturday night

A crash on Interstate 94 Westbound in Minneapolis stalled traffic Saturday night.

The crash happened after 5 p.m. between Highway 55, 5th Street and Interstate 35W, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation. Traffic management cameras showed multiple emergency vehicles on-site and traffic being diverted onto the shoulder with all lanes closed. As of 6:35 p.m., traffic management cameras showed all lanes were open.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, four vehicles were involved, but all injuries were not life-threatening. One driver is being processed on suspicion of driving while impaired.
